Hand-built from red stoneware clay, Mud Hives reimagines the architectural instincts of the Organ Pipe Mud Dauber Wasp through a fusion of organic form and embedded technology. A microcontroller and sound-responsive elements activate subtle auditory responses, bridging the primal and the digital. This work challenges perceptions of material hierarchy, elevating ancient craft through contemporary interactive elements.
