Quiet Momentum
A meditation on the intersection of mathematics and materiality, Quiet Momentum translates a complex fractal equation into a physical form. Using 3D printing technology, Liguori renders the abstract geometry of the Julia set into a sculptural vessel, which is then slip-cast in porcelain. The work collapses the digital and the tactile, grounding an infinitely iterative mathematical principle in the weight and fragility of ceramic.
